Hitting Gifts Guide

I've just uploaded two hitting gifts videos to my YouTube channel. One for baseball https://youtu.be/3Lg-ETEkq_Q and one for softball https://youtu.be/psaj7Bn3c_w.

They're basically the same with minor differences so choose the one most appropriate to you.

I recommend items that I actually use to give as gifts for individual hitters and also for coaches that will help people give gifts to their players that will actually help them in their hitting.

There's a couple of items under $10 for stocking stuffers and a plastic ball pitching machine for 3-6 year olds as well as the personal pitcher for older kids that I've talked about before along with an electronic sensor for your bat as well as starting with the basics like a tee and a net.

I don't recommend buying a bat as a gift

In total, the videos have 11 recommendations and all of them can help you hit better (well maybe not the last item that's a rolling bat bag), but none of them are a bat, which is probably the number one thing most people would think of to get a hitter.

But I don't know how many times I've seen it where the parent or grandparent buy their child, that they know loves the game, a bat only to have it sit on the shelf and never used because it's the wrong size, it's cheaper than the one they already have, or they don't know the rules of the league and get a bat that isn't legal for their respective leagues.

Save your money and follow my recommendations. Let the kid confer with their coach as to what the best bat for them would be. Talk to you next time
